Every Slowbro
has a story.
Sometimes the slowest journeys mean the most.
A few years ago, my life changed completely.
A brain injury forced me to put my career on hold. Things that once seemed simple suddenly became difficult. I could barely walk, and I wasn't able to drive for over a year.
I guess you could say that's why I'm a little slow now. LOL.
Then I discovered the Kabuto movement.
For the first time in years, I found something that made me smile again.
I've loved Pokémon since I was a kid, but like so many people, life, family and work eventually took me away from it.
Kabuto inspired me to start collecting again.
What began as a simple hobby became something much bigger.
It gave me a way to spend quality time with my kids, meet amazing people and share memes with a community that made every day a little brighter.
The movement helped me through some difficult times, and it continues to be part of my recovery.
That's what $SLOWBRO is about.
Pokémon. Family. Friendship.
And never giving up.
